I'm at home sick today, but it didn't stop the blog :). Describe your reaction to the video. Were you shocked to see a church group behind bars? Do you think this church group is actually child trafficking or simply just moving them to a new orphanage? Do you think this could be a major issue or not? Explain your reasons for your opinion.

I wasn't shocked to see a church group behind bars because a lot of church people stand up for their beliefs and get jailed. I think the chuch group wanted to help move them to a new orphanage. Yes this will be a major issue. The Haitans will want to prove they care about their kids so they are going to fight. The Americans were set up by the Haiti pastor who said they could take the children.
That was pretty crazy. I was kinda shocked to see a church group behind bars. It's not a thing you see everyday. I don't think they were intentionally child trafficking though. They were just trying to help them. Yeah I think this could be a major issue. It's probably gonna take awhile to get resolved.
I think it is said how people in Haiti are so poor. No, I was not schocked to see a church group behind bars, because they are people just like everyone else. I think the church group were just moving them to a orphanage. I this this could be a amjor issue, because people are trying to make Haiti poorer. Hakeem
I was shocked to see the church group behind bars, especially the teenagers. I want to think that they are just moving them to a new orphanage, but something doesn't seem right. Why would they move kids who have parents? This would be a major issue in the United States, so I can imagine it's a big issue there too. You can't move kids without papers. Maybe they thought they could get away with it since the Haitian government is still trying to get itself together.
I don't know what to think. I've heard of numerous missionaries and church groups going on trips to improve and build new orphanages, but I've never heard of any of them taking children to a different country to do so. After seeing the orphanage the children were taken from, I do believe that the church group was trying to do a good thing. Somewhere along the line someone didn't follow proper procedures, and that's the one who should face consequences. I think this has potential to be a major issue for future missionaries and church groups. It would be a huge issue for me if I were a volunteer on the trip. Now they're sitting in jail for trying to help and do something worthwhile.
I think the church group actually wanted to move the kids to another orphanage. I think they were trying to help the kids. I think that some parents in Haiti would want their kids to be moved to a better and safer place. I think this could be a major. This could become a major issue to people who can’t understand why the missionaries would want to move the children to their orphanage.
My reaction to this video was wow. I wasn’t shocked to see a church group in jail. I think that the church group was just moving them to a new orphanage. It could be a major issue to some of the parents and the government of Haiti. The government may look at it as child trafficking not know the story or why the kids were leaving.
My reaction to the video was very shocking because a church group tried to steal the kids from Haiti. They were doing that so they can put those kids in a better orphanage. I mean I can understand that the church group had sympathy for the kids in Haiti, because of the earthquake but that was just wrong of what they did. They should have known that they would get caught for doing that. I consider this a major issue because they were stealing kids from another country which that was wrong.
