I wanted the last blog...

I'm not gonna lie... I actually teared up when I was thinking about you guys and the fact that this is our LAST blog and the LAST class we will have together. I want you all to know that I have truly enjoyed having each of you in my class this semester. I could not have asked for a better group of master students. You all hold a special place in my heart, and I'll have to let you know when and if another class even comes close to being as cool as you! CONGRATULATIONS seniors!

Street Dancing: More Legal than Street Racing

Street dancers are quite common in highly populated areas, especially places that are good tourist attractions. In Paris, this VERY talented street dancer performs, probably on a regular basis. Many street dancers and street performers perform to make a quick buck. If I was to say so myself, I would say this guy has earned more than a quick buck! What do you think? Would you donate any money to this man for his awesome talents and performances? Moving one's body in a fluid motion as perfect as this is VERY complicated and requires A LOT of talent and practice. Do you have any unique skills? If so, explain them. Would you use your talents to make a few extra dollars by performing for passersby? Is there any specific ability that you would prefer to perform? This man undoubtedly has more talent than the average performer.

De La Mu

Suicide is a major problem throughout the world. It's quite understandable (and logical) that this video would upset or enrage many viewers; especially those who have relations to someone who has committed or attempted to commit suicide. I personally find this video to be amusing in the sense that the guy that was going to "jump" was being equally as dramatic as the man trying to persuade him not to do so. Putting aside the awkward (and slightly annoying) noises and vocals, the video did have an emotional connection up until the end. Many (including myself) have never dealt with a loved one attempting suicide (NOT meaning to imply that it is something that should be experienced). How does this video's comedic play on a serious and emotional problem make you feel? The message portrayed in this video is that a lot of people threaten to commit suicide but, even after upsetting all of their closest friends and family, end up either backing out in the end or never planned on actually doing it in the first place (only wanting attention). What are your thoughts on this video and it's painfully delivered message? Were you concerned at all for the man about to lose his closest friend?.. Or maybe for the man who had been previously thought to have given up on life? What did you think of the ending? Did it surprise you at all? On the subject of something as serious as suicide, I never expected an ending such as this one.

True Sportsmanship

This video touched many but also myself. I have played softball for all of my life and have never seen anything like this. It makes me thank God that some people in this world have the heart to help others. Even though the girl's goal cost her her softball career I am glad she was able to conquer it. If you play a sport, have you been able to make your goal? After watching this video does it make you have the drive to go conquer your goal because you don’t know when something like this could happen to you? If Balloons Could Feel

What exactly would it be like if balloons COULD talk? Would we comfort and cuddle them or would our violent sides take over? (no seriously, I would like an answer to this question) Personally, after watching the majority of his posted videos, I find him quite hilarious.... sadly most of his videos can't be shown here on a school blog. There are plenty of people who would do it simply for the attention; the satisfaction of the mass views that their videos receive. As you may notice from this video, some people go through extensive video-editing practices to make their videos look presentable (somewhat).
