Turrettes

What do you think of kids with turrets? I think its great that the kids know a lot about turrets. Do you think that its a sad that they are stuck with it for life? What would you do if you had turrets? Would you want to explain to your class like the little boy did, so that they know what you were going through? I want to know what you would think if you saw a child with turrets?

I really don't have an opinion on kids with turrets. Yes I would hate to have a disease for life. I would be just like these kids if I had turrets. I wouldn't want to but I mean I would have to. I probably be a little thrown off by it.

I think that it is sad and that it can be depressing. Yes , the sad part is that they are stuck with it for life. If I had turrets I think that I would learn how to deal with it and no matter what I would be happy with myself. I would explain to them that I am normal and that I am somebody no matter what turrets is not the person that I am inside. I would be sad if I saw a child with turrets, but I would also except them for who they are!

I think it sad that kids have to go through the humiliation dealing with turrets. I don’t think it sad, its something they will just have to except about themselves. I would accept that I have it and find friends who would accept it too. I would explain to my class as the little boy did. I wouldn’t think anything of it.

I don't think that kids with Tourettes are too much different from other kids. I don't think it's sad that Tourettes is something these kids have for life. I think everything happens for a reason and there is some purpose for these kids having this syndrome. I'm sure I would find a way to have a normal life if I had Tourettes. If I saw a child with Tourettes I would try to look past the syndrome and see the child for who they are.

Having Tourette's must suck. Yeah I think it sucks being stuck with it for life but you shouldn't let it stop you from doing what you want. It's like a movie I saw once called The front of the class; it's about a true story of a man with Tourette's who wanted to be a teacher so bad that he did everything to overcome his Tourette's. He controlled most of his blurt outs. He got turned down by a lot of schools but didn't give up and he found a school that hired him. It would be hard but yeah if I had Tourette's, I would try to explain it to my class. I would feel bad if I saw a kid with Tourette's but I wouldn't treat him or her any differently.

I think that kids with turrets are the same as everyone else. I think that it is very sad that they are stuck with it for life. If I had turrets, I would ask alot of questions about what it means. Yes, I would explain to the class what it was so they woould not joke about it. I would think that the child is normal just like everyone else.

I feel bad for the kids with Tourette's. They can't control it and the other kids don't really know what is going on. It's sad that they have it for the rest of their lives. I don't know what I would do if I had Tourette's. I know a few people who have mild cases of it. I just don't really notice it anymore though.
