Good 'ole WHS

What is your favorite memory at Windsor High School? If you had the opportunity to attend a different high school, would you leave Windsor? Do you agree that Windsor High School students are part of a large family? Why or why not? If you could change one thing about Windsor High School, what would it be?

To be completely honest I couldn't tell you what my favorite memory at Windsor High School is, just because I don't know. If I had the opportunity to attend a different high school I probably wouldn't because all my friends are here and it would be a lot different having to start over. I kind of agree that Windsor High School students are part of a large family because everybody knows everybody. If I could change one thing about Windsor High School it would be the lunch, because they are very unorganized.

My favorite memory at Windsor High School would probably have to be hanging out with my friends in the gym after class in 10th grade. If I had the opportunity to be a BUM I would leave Windsor. We are not at all like a large family. There is too much hate, too much tension between most students. If I could change one thing about Windsor High School it would be taking my name off of the enrollment list.

I don't know what my favorite memory at WHS is. There was 9th grade when I was asked to prom. That was exciting. Mr. Ellis's English class was a lot of fun. In the 11th grade I took advanced P.E. and that was so fun can't even tell you how many times I cried from laughter in there. This year, I'm just breezing through trying to graduate. I've had the opportunity of leaving Windsor, I wouldn't do it again. Yes, I think we are a large family. If I could change one thing about WHS it would be the new gym teacher or that we can't leave for lunch anymore. :(

My favorite memory at Windsor High School was in my freshman year. Every morning I would walk into Mr. Ellis' room and tell him his hair looked nice. One morning I walked in there and told him, and he started laughing and told me when he was doing his hair that morning, he thought of me saying that and started laughing. I thought that was funny. If I had the opportunity to attend another school and leave Windsor, I wouldn't be able to do it, because I have all of my friends here. I'd never be able to leave them. Plus, Windsor is what I've known all my life. I believe that Windsor High School students are part of a large family. We all get along at times, and then on some days, we all argue. It's just like a family if you ask me. I'm not too sure what I would change about Windsor High School, but it definitely could use some changes.

I have so many fond memories of Windsor High School. This school has been a blessing to my life. Probably the best memory of all is spending everyday on the practice field with my team. I would never nor did I ever think about leaving Windsor High School. This school is my family! I have a family at home (a great family) but, without this school I would not have had a family to spend seven and a half hours a day with! The only thing I would change about this school is that Mr. Owen and Coach Carroll would have never left. Even though I love Mr. Newman and Coach P, they’ll never be those two.

I have two favorite memories at Windsor High School. One of my favorite memories was coming into the 9th grade. I learned a lot about my peers and myself that year. Another one of my favorite memories was the 2010 homecoming. That was a good memory because I really enjoyed myself that night. I don’t think I would attend another school if I had the opportunity because even though this school is filled with drama, I know if I go to another school that’s bigger then Windsor it would be a lot more drama. In a way I do feel like we are a big family. We things happen here we all come together to support each other, whether it’s a school event or a fundraiser for a family in need. If I could change one thing about Windsor it would be that people need to learn how to mind their own business. A lot of drama gets started when people but in other peoples business. Another thing I would change is how “easy” the girls are here. Its not a good look when I meet other people from other schools and tell them what school I go to and they think I’m “easy” like other girls in this school.

I have a lot of memories at Windsor High School and to be honest I can not decide which one would be my favorite. If I had the opportunity to attend a differnt high school, I would. I do agree that Windsor High School students are a part of a large family. I think that overall most of the students here do get along with one another. If I could change one thing about Windsor High School it would be the food that is served in the cafeteria.

I do not have a favorite memory of Windsor High School. My best memories that have happened at Windsor High School have happened with the Marching Band, mainly during my freshman and sophomore years. If I had the chance I do not know if I would leave Windsor High School for another school. If I could change one thing about Windsor High School, it would be the need for drama. I can not stand the unnecessary drama that goes on at Windsor. The only place drama should be is in the drama class, other than that it should not exist.

I have way too many favorite memories at Windsor. At the top of my list, it would be having lunch with some of my best friends. We have had some of the best times at lunch; laughing so hard that someone spit water all over us. I don't think I would leave Windsor. I have met so many great people, especially my best friend. I think some of us feel like we're a big family. There might be some drama, but I've never had to deal with it. I wouldn't change anything about Windsor.

My favorite memory at WHS is when this male slapped his girlfriend down the steps, and she rolled. Even though I am not a fan of domestic violence. I still thought it was funny. She deserved it to me back in immaturity days. I have already experience that. To be honest I actually liked the other school better. Nobody knew me and I didn't know nobody! Fresh Start! NO I DO NOT AGREE THAT THE STUDENTS ARE APART OF A FAMILY. This school has WAY to much drama. I mean I know family has its up's and downs but WHS has too many downs. If I could change anything, I would have loved to have my senior trip.

My favorite memory at Windsor High School is my sophomore homecoming. I had some much fun during my sophomore homecoming week because my classes were chill, I was not longer “fresh meat” and I was the one of the princesses to represent Class of 2012. I did have fun during my junior homecoming week also, because we won the spirit stick twice. I think if I could choose to go to another high school I wouldn’t but I would make Windsor a bigger population. I do agree that Windsor High School students are a huge part of a large family because people are all up in your business like no other.

My favorite memory at Windsor High School was last year. We were all dancing in the gym, trying to make a video for Mr.Newman. We were all shooting basketballs and dancing and a ball hit the camera right out of Mr. Newman hands. He didn't even tell the teacher. I believe the philosophy "Everybody for themselves". If I could change one thing at Windsor High School it would be this outrageous grading scale!

There are so many memories here that it is hared to say that I have a favorite. If I had a choice of attending another school, I would stay right here where I belong. The community is so small, that it seems like we are all family. By attending Windsor High School you may know a good majority of the whole school. At other schools such as Kings Fork or Southampton, you may only know the people who you associate with. There is nothing I would change about Windsor, like they say "why fix something that aint broke."

Time goes by so fast; it seems like yesterday that I was just a freshman at Windsor High School making new friends. I would never leave Windsor High School to attend any other high school for any reason. This school is like a second home to me. I do believe that Windsor High School is a big family. Even though sometimes we all have our different ideas and opinions, we seem to get along for the most part. If I could change on thing at Windsor High School, it would be to have 100% pass rate. I will miss this school but I hope and pray that I will make some new friends and keep some old friends at Longwood University. This has been the best 4 years of my life.

I am in my senior year of high school and I can not think of one memory in particular that was my favorite. If I was given the opportunity to leave Windsor, I do not think I would go. I have spent most of my life in Windsor and it’s all I know. I think that some students are part of a large family at Windsor, but I do not think everyone feels that they are included in it all. Some students feel like outsiders because of the way they get treated. If I could change one thing about Windsor High School, it would be that the seniors did not have to pay for prom this year and that we would have been able to go on a fun senior trip.
