Gas prices are obviously high, and they are rising. What do you think is the cause of rising gas prices? Is there a solution? If so, what? Should gas stations be required to install gas pumps that give consumers the most gas for their money? Why or why not?

YES and it sucks! I think it's because of high demand maybe? Or because of production costs. I have no idea how we can fix this. Gas stations should definitely install gas pumps that give consumers the most gas for their money.

I don't know exactly what is making the gas prices shoot up but I think part of it would be greedy oil companies. I think there is a solution but I'm not sure what. To help customers, I think they should be required to install special gas pumps. I would love to get the most gas for my money.

I don't know why it's so high. I know that it'd be cheaper if the U.S. drilled in Alaska and started harvesting more of our own oil. I think gas stations should be required to install gas pumps that give consumers more for their money because the prices are ridiculous. It also makes it harder for people to get to work when they have to pay so much for gas. Gas prices can only go so much higher before people are going to need raises because they can't get to work because they can't afford gas.

Gas prices are extremely high. I can't say what the cause of rising gas prices is because I don't pay much attention to those things. I'm sure there is a solution but it's just not easily assesible. Gas stations should be required to install gas pumps that give consumers the most gas for their money. People need all the help they can get because gas is needed for cars and everyone needs cars to get around.

I think gas prices are rising because the U.S. is too dependent on foreign oil. The solution is to find alternative fuel. I don't exactly know what that best alternative fuel but experiments can be helpful. I think gas stations should be required to install gas pumps that give consumers the most gas for their money because they pay for it. It makes sense.

I do not know why gas prices are so high. I surely do not have a solution. Well actually I do have a solution to this problem. That is going to be to sell my car and invest in a nice bike. Yes, gas stations should be required to install gas pumps to give them the most gas.

War in the middle east is a major cause. If the people that supply all the oil tend to hate us, then you will see a direct correlation in the gas prices. Also, the general decaying in the quantity of crude oil left on this Earth plays a huge role in the prices. Gas stations should definitely be required to install gas pumps that have the most efficient gas to price ratio. All in all, gas prices will not get better. We are running out, we seem to think that everything is unlimited, however, there WILL come a day when our oil fields go dry. What will happen then you ask? Chaos.

Gas prices now are outrages and the only explanation I can think of is the oil companies we're buying from wanting more profit. There is a solution, get oil from our own country. I think gas stations should be required to do anything they possibly can to help us out, they have to pay for gas just like we do so it would help them as well. I hate spending $45 to fill up my car, I can't imagine if I had a truck or SUV. The government needs to figure this out because gas prices are only going up.

I think tha cause of rising gas orices is because the government just wants more money and hopes for restoring the economy. I don't really know what a solution to this problem could be. I would lower gas prices and people will most definately get it. Gas stations should be required to install gas pumps that give consumers the most gas for their money. It's only fair.

People need gas to go pretty much anywhere in today’s society, so obviously demand is extremely high. Because people need the fuel, raising the gas prices results in more money gained for the seller. I don’t really know if there is a solution, but I think it is possible to develop something that will most definitely improve the current situation. Gas stations should install pumps that will prevent consumers from being cheated out of their money; it isn’t right for drivers to pay more money for less quality in their fuel. Unfortunately, the process can be very expensive and the means may not be available for the upgrade.

I think the cause of gas prices is the government. The government don't even care. The solution is they need to drill in the new gas land. It's an area of a lot of gas they just found. Yes, and make the richer pay more because it won't even hurt them.
