PLEASE tell me that you have not nor have you heard of anyone getting drunk or high off hand sanitizer. Who or what do you think is to blame for the increased harmful use of household items and why? Is there a solution

I've herd of people getting high off of hand sanitizer. It's not surprising because people have pretty much gotten high off of everything. If someone wants to get high they'll find a way. I don't think there's a solution to it. Honestly, I think it's your body and if that's what you want to put in it that's your decision but just don't complain when it messes up your health and/or life.

You cannot get drunk of hand sanitizer. You can probably get high but that's insanely STUPID and RETARDED endless you're bound to die in a year and have no reason to live. I think its the hand sanitizer company's fault for making hand sanitizer. The solution is to stop making them.

I have never heard of people getting drunk off hand sanitizer. I would never think to even drink it. It smells too strong for me to ever put it in my mouth. I think teens are to blame if they use household items in a harmful manner. I don't understand why they always want to blame the companies. They put warnings on products. It's about time that teens got some common sense and some responsibility for themselves.

Increased human populous is the leading cause of abuse of household chemicals. Think about it. The more people you have, the more stupid people you have. The more stupid people you have, the more people you have that will be likely to do dumb things, LIKE THIS! This is the same reason that crime rates are higher. When you base things relative to population there will always be an increase in the number. However, if you use percentage you will see that it stays about the same. For instance, you have 500 drug users out of 1,000 people. That's 50%. Now you take 5000 (a way bigger number) drug users out of 10,000. That's still 50%. See what I mean?

I have heard about this and it sounds pretty stupid. I do not know who is to blame for this, but who every it is they are very crazy. There might be a solution for this but I do not know it.

I haven't heard of someone doing that before, until now. I think it's crazy how some teens will do things for the heck of it, not caring about the outcome. I think they are doing it maybe because they see other kids doing it, so I don't really blame the internet. I really don't know what the solution could be.

No I have never heard of anyone doing this. I have never heard about this situation at all. Anybody who would do this is stupid.

I heard about a little girl who had a dangerously high blood alcohol level because she had somehow eaten some hand sanitizer. Teenagers are experimental and curious; many are also searching for a way to release themselves of extreme stress that is placed on the younger generations. The internet may also play a role in the increased popularity of this dangerous stunt; teens see videos and blogs of others online who praise the high that is gained as a result. Parents should try to monitor their kids, however it is their choice to get high with the tools that are available to them. I think the only solution is to go directly to the source of the issue, the teens. It is impossible to remove all of the harmful products from reach, so parents, and others who have a major influence on the involved age groups, need to discuss the harmful effects with them in a new way, and directly confront the reason they need to get high.

I have never heard of this nor have I tried it. I think this is completely stupid. If people are really that worried about getting drunk and high they can at least put some money into it. This is just ridiculous people are so ignorant. If you are risking your life to do this is just dumb. It's not even worth it.

The only time I've heard of someone doing this action is just now and a week ago when my friend told me about it. I absolutely think this is really stupid. It's just as more unhealthy than drinking social alcohol. I think the people who take in this sanitizer to get high should take the blame. Something is not going to harm you unless you make yourself vulnerable and allow it to happen. The solution is to use the sanitizer solution for HANDS ONLY!

I have never heard of someone trying to get high or drunk off of hand sanitizer. People will do anything for attention so it doesn't surprise me. I don't understand why anyone would do something like that. If you wanna get drunk drink alcohol. Hand sanitizer does nothing but harm your body.

No, Ive never heardof someone getting drunk of hand sanitizer. I think its the companies fault. Its the companies family because they put the chemicals in the sanitizer. The company should find an alternitive.
