Who's fault was this and why? Have you ever done anything stupid because you were on your cell phone? Have you ever seen anyone else do something stupid because they were on their cell phone?

If the girl ignored the caution blocks, then it must have been the girls fault. However, they should have had better warning signs or flashing lights. I haven't done anything stupid while on the cell phone but I've seen people walk into poles or fall because they were distracted.
That's just scary. I couldn't image just walking and falling through the ground. I think it's her fault because she really should have been paying more attention. I have almost fell walking down the steps trying to text on my phone but talking doesn't bother me. I have seen people almost walk in to stuff or fall because they were texting and walking.

I didn't see where it was marked off at all. I don't think talking on your cell can distract you that much but texting I can understand. I've seen people run into other people or signs because they were texting. I just think if you're texting you just need to be aware that you're texting and be more careful. It's great that the drive got out to help though.
I think it's an road constructor fault. It is there fault because they didn't put something up. I have done many things stupid while on the phone. I seen plenty of others do things stupid. I hate when things like that happen.
This was the girl's fault and the city's fault. She should have been paying attention to where she was going and the area should have been blocked off. I haven't done anything stupid while I was on my cell phone. I never get that side tracked when I'm on my phone, either texting or talking. I've heard of people doing stupid stuff because they were on their cell phone.

The signs should have been more noticeable. But the girl shouldn't have been texting especially while she was walking by herself also. I have almost ran into something while texting on my cell phone. But not anything stupid. I've never seen anyone else do something stupid because they were on their cell phone.
I think it was both their faults. They didn't block it off very well if any at all. And it was the same color as the sidewalk. You could barely tell you difference.
There was not enough warning set into place to caution people about the unstable ground. The sink-hole area should have been better marked to prevent accidents like this. If the girl had been paying more attention, she may have avoided the situation. However, I think that even someone who wasn’t distracted by a cell phone could have easily missed the caution marks. I have never done anything dumb while using my cell phone, but I have seen other people do some crazy stuff.
I don't really know whose fault this is. I think it is kind of stupid for them to just have a sink hole like this without ropes around it or something. They need to make it a little more known that there is danger right there. The worse thing I've done is walk into the boys bathroom when on the phone. I haven't really seen anyone do something stupid that I can remember.

I don't think it was the girl's fault, however I do think she needs to be a little bit more aware of her surrondings when walking and talking on a cellphone. I believe that the people that covered that hole in the ground, should've had some more caution signs around it. It was the city's fault, because the sink hole wasnt well marked. The stupidest thing I did when on my phone is walk into a wall -__-. This one time I saw a girl fall down some steps while texting.
I think this was the girl's fault, but if it was me I would probably do the same thing and blame someone else. I do stupid stuff because of not paying attention all the time. I have to fully concentrate on the main thing I'm doing. My sisters even get to the point of running into stuff not paying attention.
