Barry Bonds is one of the greatest American athletes of all time! But he will never be remembered for it. Why? Because he used performance enhancing drugs. Two days ago he was convicted of obstuction of justice in court, but the perjury trials were dropped. He was facing perjury trials for lying about using steroids while under oath. Do you think that steroids ruins America’s game of baseball? What is your view on steroids? Do you think they are moral or un-moral? Should athletes be allowed to use them?

Yes I think that steroids ruin the game of baseball. Using steroids is cheating, so they are un-moral. Athletes should not be allowed to use them unless they are prescribed by a doctor. I occasionally have to use steroids because of my asthma, but that is the only reason you should be allowed to use such things. If they are using steroids are using them to “help” their game, they should be dismissed because it is not fair to cheat in such a manner.
I don't really have much of a view towards steroids in any kind of sport. I do not really think that steroids ruins America's game of baseball but it doesn't help either. I don't believe athletes should be allowed to use steroids. I am not quite sure what I think about steroids. I guess I would say they are un-moral but moral it could go both ways.
I don't exactly think that steroids are fair. However I also don't believe that they are worth it. If you care so little about your body that your willing to disrupt it's natural make-up then go right ahead. You'll pay the price for the actions you've taken. No sport would be worth that to me.
I think more than just the game of baseball is on steroids. I say this because people have to get big fast and they don't have the time to work out frequently. Barry Bonds to me is still the greatest baseball player of all time. Athletes should not be allowed to use them!

Yes, Barry Bonds is awesome!!! I think that he does still get some recognition but not as much as he should. Yes, it was wrong to take the drugs to enhance his performance on the field, but this was just recently. What happened to his younger years when no drugs were used? Barry Bonds was still good; why not recognize him for those times. Sometimes the use of steroids in the game of baseball does seem to show up more often than any other sport. The uses of steroids are un-moral. Athletes should not be able to use steroids, but to me there are way more things that news and media can focus their attention on.
I don’t think that steroids ruin baseball. To me it’s just an enhancement drug, which actually makes the game better if the players are playing better. I honestly don’t care if athletes use steroids, because like I said I look at it as an enhancement drug. If the players want to live out their athletic career, then steroids might be the best choice for them. I really don’t care whether athletes take steroids or not, as long as they continue playing football.

It's pointless, because you can get kicked out of your sports career for it. I don't think athletes should be allowed to use steroids, because it doesn't show their true shine.
I couldn't believe the news about Barry Bonds using steroids. I remember growing up while he was still playing baseball. My brother would tell me all these great things about him. Many great athletes have used steroids, and now people don't look up to them like they used to. I don't think steroids should be used. It can be dangerous or mess up your life.

I believe if you are a true athlete, you should not have to use steroids. I think this is un-moral. I think steroids do ruin baseball. It's like cheating unless everyone does it to make it fair. I think they are unmoral and unnatural. People can get as big or muscular as they want without steroids, it just takes a lot of work and effort. If you don't have the drive to get big naturally then you don't need to get big. Athletes shouldn't be allowed to use them, it can give the players an unfair advantage over the others. As far as not telling the truth in court, he should have to face the consequences of that too.
I think that athletes using enhanced drugs may be breaking the law but at least their trying to find something to help them get better. There are people out there that would be the best athletes out there if they gave the effort for it. I think it is wrong to use enhancing drugs but he is not the only one using them. They need to have more tests with everyone if they want to enforce it. I think it may help some athletes if they used them.
I do think steroids can ruin any sport. I don't agree with the drug steroids. Although, steroids I feel like are a huge part of the baseball world. I definitely don't think Barry Bonds is the only one on steroids. Taking steroids though to me are un-moral, if your body can't handle it, quit!
