Do you think the parents are right to accuse the school systems? Or do you believe social media is to blame for the mass hysteria? If you think neither are, what do you think is causing this mysterious illness? If you found out social media sites were causing illnesses, would you stop using them?

I think that has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The school has no influence on them getting conversion disorder. I don't think that social media is to blame either. I'm not sure what may be causing these effects. I would probably quit using social media if it were found to cause illness.
I really don't think that parents are right by accusing the school systems. It doesn't make sense. I think it may be a result of social media. Even if social media sites are to blame, I seriously doubt people are going to stop using the sites. Those teens are definitely suffering from problems in their mind.
No I don't think the parents should blame the school system. The school is trying to figure outs whats wrong. I Think its social media that's causing the hysteria. If I found out that it was the social media I would stop watching it.
I honestly don't know what to think about this situation. It sounds really stupid that students are getting these tick-like symtoms from social media; it just doesn't make any sense. I don't think the parents should be accusing the school systems for this mass hysteria but it doesn't sound right that social media is to blame either. It will be hard to pin point exactly what is causing the mass hysteria. If I found out social media sites were causing illnesses I would stop using them but I don't believe they are.
It does not make sense that a school can give a kid a disorder. The parents have no right to accuse the school system for this issue. In fact they do not have the right to blame anything or anyone until they have more answers. I have no clue what could be causing this illness but I do not think it is the social media. Well I do not really use social media sites that much anyway, so yes I would stop using them.
I think they have a right to believe that the school has something to do with it because it's a little wired that so many people are developing turrets and they go to the same school. However, I think parents should be trying to find a solution to the problem instead of automatically assuming that the school is the only connection. I don't think social media could produce something like that. The doctor didn't even give an explanation as to why social media was causing the illness. I think the parents need to calm down and actually think about what's causing the illnesses and not just blame the school.
I do and don't think the parents are right of accusing the school systems. I think they do because they should be on top of these things. Then again I think they don't because they aren't reliable for everything around them, only the things that come to the school. If I found out social media sites were causing the illness I would stop using them. They wouldn't have me acting like that.
I don't think the parents have any room to blame the school for there kids problems. The school isn't the thing that's getting the kids sick. They've ran test after test, and can't find anything. So the parents need to stop blaming the school. I don't think that social media is to blame either, just because you watch something that someone else has, does not mean that you will get it. If there was a social media site that caused illnesses, I would not keep using them. I would stop using those sites.
I don't think the parents are right to accuse the school systems. Moreover Their conditions could be because of the social networks, but again majority of all don't experience hysteria. If it's not the social networks it could be some type of chemical imbalance in the girl's bodies. On the other, if social media sites were causing illnesses I would stop using them. It would definitely be odd.
I don't really think the parents have a right to blame the school system. However they do have a right to inquire about what they're doing to keep their children safe. I think it could possibly be because of the social media, that the children are having these problems. If it is because of sccial media networks I would definitely stop using them.
I think that the social media is to blame for this, because I saw on the news this week they were talking about how the girls brains were taking in the videos of the others girls that posted the videos on FaceBook and they started mentally mocking it. If I would have found out that social media sites causing illnesses, I would stop using them.
I don’t think the parents have a right to blame the school. Because if it was the school don’t you think their would be more cases of it happening not just a couple. And I don’t not think its social media because there is really nothing online that could really cause that. I really don’t understand why they are getting “sick”. If I found out that facebook was causing it I would probably stop using it.
I think that the parents are right in blaming the school for the first couple cases. However social media is also to blame. There is no way that these other girls who live who knows how far away could also have this disease. This is crazy and I don't understand how this disease completely avoids guys. If this is caused by social media I don't think I could stop using them nor would most people, because it has become staple to our routines.
I think the parents are wrong for accusing the people at the school for this strange illness. Yes, they have to be angry and wondering where in the world this is coming from but if the school has done all of the proper testing to eliminate them then why still accuse them? I do not believe social media is causing this outbreak because these girls were popular pretty girls and now can barely get out a complete sentence without blurting out a noise. It doesn't make sense to me that sites like facebook could cause anyone to get to get that stressed out. I have already quit using facebook because with high school students it seems to only be about drama.
I do not think the parents should accuse the school system. They brought in experts that know what they talking about so they should trust them.I also do not think social media sites are responsible for it. I have seen stress do some strange things like make somebody kill themselves. I do not use social media sites that often so I would use it as I usually do.
Due to the fact that the school is the major thing the students have in common, the parents have a right to suspect that the school is the problem. Parents are doing the right thing in challenging the school system to deliver answers and solutions to this very strange situation. I really don’t know what could be causing this illness, but it could be a number of things. Teenagers do tend to spend an enormous amount of time using technology such as various cell phones and computers, so perhaps it is possible that all of the exposure has finally taken its toll and created a new illness. It could also be linked to an increased amount of stress, which may explain why the only confirmed victims have been girls. If I found out that social media sites were causing this illness or any other, I would probably stop using them. I would find some other way to stay connected with my friends and family.
