Why do you think she is now coming out about this scandal? Do you think its fair that she can now make profit off of an affair? Ladies, would you have came out or would you have kept it a secret? Guys, do you think girls can use these situations to their advantage, like they were "persuaded"?

Maybe the woman is coming out about it now because there were accusations in the past and she felt bad about keeping those secrets. If she felt so strongly about that secret, maybe she shouldn't have done those things in the first place. Even though he was the president, that didn't make his actions right. If I was in her situation, I'd probably only tell that secret if it was necessary.
I think she is just coming out because for publicity. I don't know why anyone would want to make a profit off an affair. Honestly, I would have probably carried that to my grave since affairs a frowned upon. I wonder if she actually thought about what she was doing. I guarantee people are going to look at her in a different light and not necessarily a good one.
It's stupid to consider this as a real scandal since by now everyone knows that John F. Kennedy slept with pretty much everyone. I don't see why anyone should care that he slept with this specific woman when he cheated with a lot of other women. I wouldn't have slept with a married man in the first place so I wouldn't have had anything to come out about. However, she clearly only came out about it to become famous. It wouldn't have mattered if she came out or not because Kennedy already had a long list of girls he slept with.
Situations like this really.... P**S me off. This woman is completely and utterly taking advantage of a situation, for her own benefit. It's not like she was hurt, it's not like someone took something from her. She willingly gave herself up. How can she profit from this????????
I think she just got tired of it. I think its not fair that she can make a profit of that affair. It happened so long ago. Girl I would have came out for the money! I don't think she was persuaded! She wanted to do it.
The only reason the lady is coming out now is to make money. Even though I do not believe it is fair that she can make money off of a situation like this. I definitely think the the girls can use the situation to their advantage. The problem is guys do not realize the can be taken advantage of until after the face. This lady just came out to make money and to give the news a big scandal to talk about.
I think this lady is now coming out because she can now accept what had happened to her, and people need to know the truth. I would have came out with the truth. Because if something like that happened to me, I would want everyone to know what kind of person that man is.
I think she's now coming out about it because she was tired of keeping it inside; She was tired of keeping it a secret. I probably would've came out just to let everyonon know the truth and what really happened, but I wouldn't have liked all the publicity from it.

I think she is coming out so she can get money and fame. Yes because it was JFK's fault. If JFK wouldn't have made as many mistakes she wouldn't be profiting from it.
I think that this women is now coming out about the scandal because she was afraid to face whatever the consequences would be. I don't think it's fair for her to make profit off an affair because it happened a long time ago and she kept it personal. I would have said something about it. I mean the fact that she was nineteen having an affair with a maybe fifty year old president is insane. I don't necessarily think she was persuaded, I think she wanted to do it.
I have no idea why she's coming out now about this scandal. It might not be fair that she can make a profit off of an affair but that's the way things are and that's how it happens. I probably would have kept something like that a secret. People tend to criticize harshly when a woman comes out about having an affair with a prominent man. Hopefully she's being honest because some women do use these situations to their advantage.
I think that she just wanted to get her story heard. I don’t feel like she should get money for having an affair but if the book sells what can you do. I don’t think that he took advantage of her he was the president of the United States she wanted to do it.
Secrets eat away at people eventually they are told. I think that if the American puplic is gulible enough to buy this woman's book then heck yeah she should profit. I think these situatuions are just everyday occurences. The reason this one happens to be so big is simply because it was JFK. If this had been as Mrs. Bryant puts it Joe Shmoe and a random woman than we wouldn't even think twice about it.
I can imagine that through all of these years the memory of the affair has worn on her to the point where she needs to get the affair out in the open. However, due to the fact that she wrote a book and made money off of the scandal, she may also be taking advantage of her situation to make some extra cash and gain some publicity. It is fair for her to make a profit off of her affair because it’s her issue and her book, but, it also makes her appear to be coming out for personal gain. I would have never had anything to admit to, because if I had had an option, I would never have allowed the affair to begin. Nevertheless, if the relationship was not consensual, then I hope I would have had the strength and courage to expose the president for who he really was.
