I'm not too sure of what happened in this story but I know that Trayvon should not have died. Zimmerman clearly started this because he followed Trayvon even after the 911 operator told him to stop. Even if Trayvon "appeared" to be doing something wrong, he should not have been pursued or shot. Zimmerman should've been arrested and I think there should be a further investigation.

I think this whole situation is very sad. I think the situation started with Zimmerman but it seems like no one cared to much because he wasn't arrested. I wouldn't want to be in either one of those shoes. I just feel really sorry for the boy's family. I don't understand how you can kill someone and not be remorseful about it.

I think Trayvon is totally innocent. Zimmerman deserves life in prison or the death penalty for his actions. If I was in Zimmerman's shoes I wouldn't have killed the kid. I would have taken caution but would have avoided taking someone's life. I think it's pretty sad this kid died at such a young age.

The guy should probably go to jail. For the same reason that a person who shoots a burglar should go to jail. Simply for going too far. However, I do believe that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman. I don't think that a neighborhood watch would shoot someone for doing nothing.

I think it is ridiculous what happened. It's really hard to tell who started it. I think that Zimmerman assumed and had to make excuses for why he did what he did. I think that Trayvon was innocent. I think that Zimmerman should be arrested for killing a boy. I would have confronted the boy if I was in Zimmerman shoes before just shooting him.

I think Zimmerman started the whole situation. If Zimmerman hadn't followed Trayvon then Trayvon wouldn't have had a reason to fight back to him. If I was in Zimmerman's position, I wouldn't have killed Trayvon.

This whole situation with Trayvon Martin and Zimmerman is sad. I have no idea who started it. You can't believe everything that is in the media. I have no idea what I would do if I were in either of their shoes. Regardless of what happened, Trayvon did not deserve to die.

The man Zimmerman killed Trayvon on purpose. I don't belive Zimmerman's story. I think Zimmerman started it. I think he started it because he followed Trayvon. So I guess Trayvon thought that man was trying to hurt him. So thats when he got scared and punched Zimmerman. I would have screamed for help and tried to run away.

I think it's sad that it happened. Ultimately, they just need to investigate more. I don't see how Zimmerman could get beaten up by a kid. I would just explain what happened.I think they should've known if there was a fight based on how Zimmerman looked after the incident.

I think the Trayvon situation is very sad, each side is do different so it's hard to decide what's the truth and what isn't. I am not sure how I feel, I wish he wouldn't of died and I feel like shooting to kill is a scary thing either way. I'm not sure which side I believe but I feel like he shouldn't of been killed. The police call from the neighbor makes it seem like the child was innocent. It's hard to speak about now because the boy has lost his life and the family is the one who really has to deal with it.

I think that this case is very sad. Zimmerman should not have shot Trayvon for doing whatever he did. But most of all I think that Trayvon was innocent. His life should not have been taken like that. I would not want to be in either one of their shoes. I hope the best for the family.

I do not really know what to think about the whole Trayvon Martin situation. I do not really know who started the situation and nobody will ever know. Nobody will ever know the whole truth of the situation because it is stories against more stories. Well if I was in Trayvon's shoes right now I would not be here. As for the other guy I do not what I would do if I had to handle this whole dilemma.

I really don't know what happened between Martin and Zimmerman, and I don't think anyone ever will. It is difficult to determine truth when the media and the public get involved. Sources are not always correct and can persuade the public to believe something that did not happen. I still don't know for sure what occurred between the two individuals, so I have no idea what I would do in their shoes. I hope that I never get into a situation similar to theirs.
