Hand Sanitizer Causes Girl to Burn?

Read this article and watch the clip.

Do you think there is a puzzle piece missing? How do you think the fire started? What would you have done if this was your child? How hard do you think this 11 year old girl has had it - Cancer, a head injury, and now being caught on fire? Would you try to sue the hospital? Do you know anyone who has cancer or is a survivor?

I don't know if there are any missing pieces and I could not say how the fire started. I think This 11 Year old girl is being protected by angles. There is no other way she could have decided all this. I don't know if I would try to sue the hospital but this incident surely would bring some questions to my mind. This is kind of a touchy subject for me. My grandfather was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer around January of 2007 and they told him he had six months to live. He passed away January 19, 2008.

Yes, this does not sound right. I honestly think the father did it. I mean its sound stupid but that's how i think it happened. Maybe he felt like he needed to put her out of her misery and tried to make it look like a accident. The little girl has had a hard life, but you just have to tell your self one thing. There is always someone out there that has it worse.

I'm not sure if a piece of the puzzle is missing, but I do find it rare and hard to believe that a flame can be ignited by just having a small amount of sanitizer on your hands.I feel so very bad for this little girl, and my heart goes out to her. The poor child has been through enough, being 11 years old and fighting cancer has been more than enough for her and her family. I do know people who have had cancer. My father had prostate cancer, and my grandmother is a survivor of a rare stomach cancer that was suppose to take her life when I was only 6 years old. Thank god both of them had gob by their side and pulled them through

I have a feeling that something else happened. I dont think it was the germex or static electricity. I think there was some elctrical problems. If this would have been my daughter I would have sued the hostpital. I think this girl has had a very hard life because of all of her previous tradgedies. My grandma is a survivor of breast cancer.

This is really sad. She already had cancer and now this. She has it really hard, and just a random thing like this makes me question god. It said she has strong faith in god, but why would something like this happen? I do not know any cancers patients ir survivors.

I don't think there is a missing piece to the puzzle, but this accident is very odd. I believe the fire was a chemical imbalance somehow. I would have smothered and got the flames out too. This poor child has been through a lot, I just hope it makes her stronger not fearful. I wouldn't sue the hospital, maybe the hand sanitizer because if it can happen to her, it can happen to everyone. I do know many that are battling cancer and unfortunately a few that have lost to the battle but are up in heaven.
