I think it is pretty crazy that this guy is still running around. I think I would be pretty scared to go outside alone if something like this happened. I would always think of someone coming behind me and stuff. If he killed three people, then he should 25 to life. I live in Virginia so I feel pretty safe since he is all the way in California.
This story is insane! I don't feel safe even if it's not my area because he is moving and traveling everywhere to get away. He could come here and set up traps and just go on a splurge. If they get caught I believe he should be put in prison for life or the punishments should be severe. This man needs to see a therapist and a psych ward, to me having your name on the courts list is not worth all of this trouble. i believe for these types of behavior, there is no cure and they just believe this way of action is okay. I do not feel safe at all with him being around, even the quotes they have that this man has said.

I have heard so much about this story within the past two days. I surely wouldn't feel safe if a fugitive ex police officer was on the lose. How is anyone suppose to feel safe and secure by the police if a ex police officer who is on the run knows the departments every move. His punishment is obvious, he needs help mentally and needs to be put of for taking innocent lives out of this world. -Dixie G
This is absolutely insane! It's pretty crazy how smart he is being and since he's been trained to be a cop and in the Navy, he really knows their every moves and what actions they are going to take. I would be scared if it happened in my area. I would be taking every precaution necessary to ensure my family and myself that we were safe. I really don't like that nobody knows where he is right this minute. He's on a constant move, but it's as if he were a ghost. I wonder what the verdict would be if he was caught? What is really an equivalent punishment to action like this? I'm not sure what the punishment should be because jail/prison time, isn't anything and being put in an asylum or something doesn't protect those people either. I'm curious as to what happens with this case and I'm surprised that this is the first time I've heard about this.
