This year's super bowl had some great commercials. It was estimated that it cost $2.6 million for a 30 second ad! What was your favorite commercial? Personally mine was the Kim kardashiann Skechers one. Do you think that is worth it for a 30 second ad? Would you pay that much for a 30 second ad?

I could be wrong, but according to my dad, when you pay for a 30 second ad, you get 30 seconds for every commercial break. My favorite commercials were probably the ones by the Doritos company. Of those I mostly enjoyed the one where the guy was sprinkling Dorito crumbs on dead or dying things and bringing them back to life. For a commercial during the Superbowl, it might possibly be worth that much money. While $2.6 million sounds like something we would be making life-long monthly payments on, to big companies like Doritos and Budweiser that isn't too bad of a payment.
My favorite commercial was the Snickers commercial. That part when that one lady gets smacked by that log and she is like "now my front hurts". I think it's hilarious. I don't think it's worth $2.6 million for a commercial. I might would pay that much for an ad if I had something really good to advertise like Doritos or Chevy.

It is not worth $2.6 million for a 30 second ad! Very little can be advertised during such a short time period. Also, most people who watch the commercials are simply seeking comedy. I don't imagine that businesses gain much consumer support from Super Bowl commercials. It seems like they lose more money than they gain by paying these millions. I don't have a favorite Super Bowl commercial. If I owned a business, I would never pay that much for a 30 second ad.
I agree that this year's super bowl had many great commercials but last year's had many more. My favorite commercial this year was the coke zero one. Some people believe that the 30 second ad is worth it because many people are watching it and they sell their product they will get much more money. So by paying for the ad they are basically making money and selling their product. I personally would not pay that much for a 30 second ad.
I don’t really have a favorite super bowl commercial because I was not really paying attention to the commercials this year. My favorite one from last year was the one with Justin Timberlake getting dragged all over the place. I do think its worth all that money to pay for a 30 seconds commercial. I do think I would pay that much for a commercial if I was the owner of an extremely successful and wealthy business. I would pay that much because If I have a good selling product to begin with, ill make even more money because the commercials are selling my product.
My favorite commercial was one of the Coca-cola commercials. There were two guys, who were supposed to be enemies, protecting a border somewhere. One of the two guys got out a Coke; the other looked at the Coke longingly. The first guy got out another Coke but would not go over the border at all to give the guy the Coke, so he redrew the line so that the second guy could pick it up. Then they fixed the line and went back to their job protecting the border. It was such a cute commercial that I think that was worth $2.6 million. I would never pay that much money though for any ad, I would have other things to use that money on.
This year's super bowl definitely had some great commercials. I've never seen this one before though. My favorite commercial is the one with that guy licking the Doritos off that other guy's finger. Personally, I don't think it's worth $2.6 million for a 30 second ad. That's just ridiculous if you ask me.

If I had a million dollar company, I would defiantly pay to advertised during the super bowl. My favorite commercial was the Pepsi Max commercials. I would pay that much for a 30 second ad during the super bowl because everyone watches the big event and that money in itself.
I have to say that my favorite commercial for the Super Bowl was the one last year where the man was sitting on the park bench and a dog came up with a shock collar on and the guy told the dog to speak to get a Dorito; but instead, the dog stuck the collar onto the man and got all the Doritos. It was very funny! No matter how funny the commercials are, I would never pay $2.6 million dollars to advertise one. So personally, I think it was way too much money for an advertisement, but all the celebrities have more money than they have sense, so it all works in their favor.
This year the super bowl did have some great commercials. My favorite commercials were the Grandpa and the Kim Kardashian one. She looked mighty good. Although I would not pay $2.6 million for a 30 second ad.
I did not really pay much attention to the commericals honestly. I do not think that it was worth the 30 second ad. I would not pay that much money for a 30 second ad. If I had that much money I would not waste it on a commerical that would only be seen during the super bowl. I can do a lot of things with 2.6 million besides spending it on a 30 second ad.
I do believe that this year had some of the best commercials in a long time. That is unbelievable that a commercial cost that much for just 30 of airtime. My favorite commercial this year was the Doritos one with the boy said that he missed the best part and licked his fingers and then he ended up licking his pants. That was so hilarious. I personally would not pay that much for that amount of time because I am not rich. If I had that amount of money, it would be a different story. I think that because of the placement of the commercials did make the profits go up.
I believe that my favorite commercial is the Doritos commercial that aired last year. It was about the kid who slapped his mothers date for looking at this mother and touching one of his Doritos. I really don’t think that a 30 second commercial needs to be $2.6 million. That is ridiculous! I definitely would not pay all that money just for 30 seconds. But I also would love someone to pay me all that money to show my face on TV for 30 seconds.
I loved the super bowl commercials this year. My favorite would probably be the little boy dressing as Darth Vader thinking he started up the new Volkswagen Passat. I think some of these commercials are worth the money. It may cost some money but it’s what we all look forward to seeing when the game has a break. I guess you pay for the name of the product. Hopefully, next year will be awesome like it was this year.

My favorite commercial was the Dorito's commercial where the guy leaves his room mate to take care of the house while he is away. While his room mate is away he let the fish and plant die. He begins to sprinkle Dorito's on the fish and plant. Surprisingly they begin to revive. I would never spend an estimate amount of 2.6 million dollars for a 30 second ad.
I was not able to see all the commercials for the Super Bowl because I had to work. But I have seen four different ones on the Internet now and so far I think my favorite is when a little kid was dressed up as Dark Vader and tried starting different things. I think it is so great when his dad starts the car with his keys making him believe that he has special powers. I do not think a 30 second ad is worth $2.6 million. I do think that with the Super Bowl, it brings in a lot of viewers but I don’t think its $2.6 million worth.
I watched the Super Bowl this past Sunday. I was rooting for the Green Bay Packers and as everyone knows they are the 2011 Super Bowl Champions. My favorite commercial was the Doritos™ commercial with the dog. I liked the commercial because it had a twist to it. I fully think if it will benefit the product it is worth it. Of course, I don't have enough money personally now, but for a company it would be like a investment.
