I'm 17, clearly I don't own a firearm. But gun rights are being dumb at the moment. Taking guns away is against the Constitution. What's next? America is becoming more and more communist.

I do not have any firearms of my own. But my step-dad, a used to be investigator has a firearm. I believe gun rights should be available to everyone, but I do think they should have to have a background check a long with some sort of mental test before being able to have a license. I do think it's wrong if he means to take guns away from shooting stations not just for personal possession. I think that because he is just skeet shooting and he made a statement that he enjoyed going to this place and shooting.

Yes, I do have a shotgun. I think that gun laws are fine as they are now. I do think that it is wrong that he likes to shoot skeet for fun, but is trying to take guns from the people. I don't think he is trying to take guns at all. I think it is all a bluff or political seen to make guns sell more. This also is going to raise the prices of guns an ammunition. This is just going to make the government more money. Like I said before I think it is all just a scheme or political show.
Yes, I own many guns. You should be able to own a gun for your own protection. It is wrong. he is banning guns but is still using him for fun. They cant take our second amendment rights.
No, I do not own a firearm. I do plan on buying one someday for protection. I think it should be harder for people to get guns because gang members get guns and just give them to fellow members, which is causing a lot of death in America. I think it is wrong for Obama to say that we can't have guns but he can. It is definitely going against the constitution and shouldn't be allowed.
I have tons of firearms. I think that you should be able to own a weapon. It is wrong for him to ban guns and he still be able to us guns. He just made a fool of himself.
I don't own any fire arms, but my dad does. I think the gun laws that we have right now are perfectly fine. If anyone wants a gun, they can find a way to get it. The same concept stands if someone wants drugs or to kill someone, they will get it or do it. Everyone has heard that saying "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." It's true! It's ironic that a picture was released of Obama shooting a gun, because he is the one trying make the laws more strict and get them "under control". A lot of people carry or own a gun for safety of themselves or their family, right? So when you try to take their guns or make it so they cannot be purchased, they become angry. They began to question why their safety and their families safety is being taken away, but the president and his family has full protection 24/7 with a force of guns . . . this is one of the points that has our nation in an uproar.
I own Firearms. I believe people should be able to own guns. I think that if he wants to ban guns and he uses them for fun then that is very hypocritical. Because he should not tell people to get of guns if he does not get rid of his own.
I have no firearms at all. I feel that people should have the right to have a firearm but only if their not a convicted criminal, or unstable mentally. In my opinion I don't see anything wrong with a shot gun used for hunting, or a hand gun only used for protection encase of a incident. However I feel that heavy duty guns should be banned. I don't see why any individual would need a heavy duty gun unless their in the Military. I don't really have an opinion of Obama shooting guns for fun, because regardless he's the president and if he wants to shoot guns as a hobby then of course he's aloud to. However citizens should just stick to using guns for their purpose and that purpose is definitely not to harm others.
