Read this.

Do you think that video games cause people to act violent? Why or why not? Do you play video games? Why or why not?

Video games can make people act violent, but it all depends on the game. Like CoD will make you mad. But put put golf will not. I do play video games sometimes. I do because they are fun.

I play COD and all the video games of that such, but I don't play as much or get as involved as many boys do. I believe like the blog says those that are dark to begin with begin to play these games and that could be why a big number of the surveys are come positive from the gamers. I don't think the game necessarily makes the person ac mad, more like other factors previous in life or the way they were raised.

I'm not sure if video games really relate to the violence that people cause, but social scientists could very well be on to something. My boyfriend used to plays some of the COD games all the time, but he doesn't bring the blood, shooting, and killing into reality. I think the video games might give people ideas or make them wonder what combat or whatever would really be like, but it has to be more psychological than just playing a game. I actually play video games sometimes and I used to play them when I was younger, but I've never even been curious to think about what it would be like to go crazy and start murdering people.

I don't think that video games can cause you to kill someone or be violent. That is your decision and people are just giving them an excuse for killing people. I used to play video games sometimes but I realized that I suck at them and I stopped. If I ever play games it's because I'll play Madden with my friends. The whole blame it on video games is a bunch of crap to me.

I don't think video games cause people to act in a violent manner. I believe that somewhere in there life something bad happened to them to make them feel the need to "get back" at someone or that they are mentally ill. Just because a video game is gory or violent, there is no excuse as too why people go on the rampages or contribute to massacres. I do not play video games, but I know many people that do and I do not believe in anyway that they are going to go on a rampage.

I do not think that video games cause people to act violent. I think that it depends on what type of person they are, like if they are very impressionable or worship games. I play games but I know that it is just a game, it does not mean anything, it is not real. I play them because they are fun and i can hang out with friends that are far away.

I do think that video games cause people to act violent. When people play games like grand theft auto, modern warfare or any other shooting games it makes them crazy. I dont say this about everyone because i play video games too but im talking about the people that play them non stop everyday. I do play video games but the only ones i ever play are madden games and modern warfare.

People can act violent when playing video games but it will not make you hurt or kill someone. Look at all the people who do play and there are the nicest people in the world. Look at me, I play Cod, Battlefield, Mortal Kombat, Doom, and the list goes on. Most of those games you see arms and legs fly off and blood being spilled and brains being splattered. But I am still perfectly fine and sane. Don`t blame all the video games out there. Blame the parents who let there children play stuff like this. I have grown up all my life playing games like this because my parents know I am mature enough to play them. I wont go rob a store if I do it on a game.

I don't think video games make all people act violent, but I do feel that certain people who live in a fantasy land mentally should not play violent video games because at times they follow through and make their fantasy a horrifying reality. I don't see any harm in playing COD, or any mission shooting game like that. I love to play video games including some which are violent. I just don't recommend people to get outrageously caught up in certain games because after all it is a game, not reality and people just can't walk the streets with the state of mind they have while completing some levels in violent games.
